The nest, a prototype for co-inhabition
Our Animalesque Visiting School 2019, embedded in the Climate Care program at the Floating University in Berlin took place from 1 – 10 August. During these ten days, 14 participants got engaged into the design and construction of a giant bird nest, made out of branches we got from a productive forest in Brandenburg. Accompanied by lectures, debates, excursions and performances the nest developed into a natural, responsive sculpture, embedded in the water and reeds of the Floating University basin. Read more here.
